Description

Bom Malandro red wine is produced from grapes of noble varieties from the Douro region, sourced from the Symington family vineyards located in the sub-regions of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, at altitudes exceeding 400 meters.

After a period of ageing in stainless steel tanks and used French oak barrels, this classic blend reveals a captivating aroma of red fruits, with prominent notes of cherry and a hint of strawberry, complemented by floral nuances of rockrose and forest pine. In the mouth, it proves to be full-bodied and velvety, offering flavours of black plum and a subtle touch of bell pepper. Its well-crafted structure combines round tannins with remarkable freshness, balanced by acidity that provides clarity and harmony.

Bom Malandro is a wine brand made in reverse. Instead of starting with the grape varieties, estates, and terroir, it started with the name and characters to build its story. Here, the protagonist is the Squirrel, who makes the Douro his home.
