Description

Cistus Reserva is produced from the traditional Douro varieties Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. It shows good volume on the palate, with firm and enveloping tannins, revealing warm spice notes derived from ageing in French and American oak barrels.

Quinta do Vale da Perdiz is a family-owned business that began production in 1989.

All wines from Quinta do Vale da Perdiz are marketed under the “Cistus” brand and are made from grapes sourced from the Upper Douro, mostly from the Fernandes family vineyards, owners of the company, with a total area of approximately 50 hectares divided across six estates.
