Description

Cortes do Reguengo Reserva originates from the Douro Superior sub-region, is produced from a careful selection of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinto Cão. The grapes are hand-picked, destemmed and crushed in stone lagares with foot treading, fermenting under controlled temperature and aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. It displays a ruby colour with aromas of red fruits, rockrose and spice, complemented by smoky notes. On the palate, it is complex and structured, with soft tannins and a fresh, persistent finish.
