2021 Crono Tinta Amarela red
Description
The region of Alenquer, situated between the Serra de Montejunto and the banks of the River Tagus, is characterised by a sequence of gentle, idyllic slopes for wine production. The natural shape of the landscape protects the vines from wet and cold Atlantic winds, maintaining a temperate climate.
Crono red wine, produced, exclusively, from the Tinta Amarela grape variety, is cherry red with an open intensity and a medium persistent tear. The aroma is delicate, characterised by fruits of the forest, spices and tobacco leaf, also highlighting notes of caramel, smoked and coffee from its ageing in French oak barrels. In the mouth, it is dry, balanced and with a long and pleasant persistence.
