Description

Desertor Branco, produced exclusively with the Arinto grape variety, reveals a unique fusion of tradition and rebellion. With 50% of the batch ageing in used French oak barrels, a subtle woody note is sought. The label, inspired by the audacity of local history, pays homage to a German pilot from World War II who deserted and crashed near the area where the vineyard that gives rise to this wine is located today.

Filipe Rodrigues is a new Viticulturist and Winemaker in the Península de Setúbal region, who took over his uncle's vineyards and started his project, releasing the first wine in 2019. Respecting the terroir and the people who make this project possible, Filipe brings new wine references to the national market.
