Description

This ruby-coloured wine expresses an aroma of red fruits, with notes of pomegranate, strawberry and plum, combined with balsamic nuances and tomato leaf. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant acidity, full of freshness, with very subtle tannins and lots of fresh, intense fruit.

Born and raised in Ribeira de Santarém, Hugo Mendes studied Biotechnology Engineering but his passion for wine has spoken louder and since the 2006 vintage he has devoted himself entirely to oenology. Lover of communicating art to consumers, is a habitual presence on social networks. Since 2008 has been feeding a blog dedicated to uncomplicating oenology for oenophiles. Became a producer in his own name in the vintage of 2016, having for this purpose held the first crowdfunding in Portugal to finance a wine.
