Description
Kumeu River Rays Road Pinot Noir red is an elegant and expressive wine made from hand-harvested grapes and fermented with indigenous yeasts. After malolactic fermentation, it is aged for around 12 months in French oak barrels, adding complexity and balance.
The nose reveals ripe cherry and red fruit aromas, complemented by subtle dry leaf notes that enhance complexity. On the palate, it is supple and deceptively concentrated, with a distinctive mineral edge. Approachable now, with good ageing potential.
