Description

Pó de Poeira Red is a wine with a strong personality, full of power but with the characteristic elegance of the Douro. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of blackberries, dark chocolate and an enveloping touch of exotic spices, creating a rich and sophisticated aromatic experience.

After making seven vintages as a winemaker at Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Without concessions, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001, he started the Poeira project situated in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
