2021 Quinta da Tradição Alicante Bouschet red
Description
The Quinta da Tradição, produced exclusively from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety, is a clear wine with a deep garnet colour. The aroma stands out for its intensity and complexity, with notes of red fruits and blackberries. The flavour is fruity, fresh, soft and balanced, with round tannins that give it body. The finish is persistent, with pleasant notes of toast.
The Nova Mouchão do Inglês II, a 32.5 hectare estate, embraces the vineyards of Quinta da Tradição, along the south bank of the Tagus.
With a diversity of varietals in alluvial soils and sands, such as Merlot, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Roriz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Castelão, Syrah and Touriga Nacional, and in the whites Fernão Pires, Arinto and Sauvignon Blanc, the best Portuguese and international grape varieties are combined. The result is distinctive wines with good body and exceptional aromatic quality.
