Description

Quinta do Sobral rosé is produced from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, having partially fermented in barrels for 5 months. It presents a lively pink colour and aromas of red fruits, leading to a long and full-bodied finish on the palate. As it is a natural wine, it may develop sediment or crystals.

Quinta do Sobral, a family project by Cristina Simões and Jorge Loureiro, is located in the heart of the Dão Wine Region in Vila de Santar, a historical heritage of the region. Here, the tradition of planting vines in poor granite soils amidst pine forests is maintained, as well as the cultivation of traditional grape varieties that define the wines of this estate, which comprises around 15 hectares of vineyards.
