Description
Menin red is crafted from selected plots with different grape varieties and exposures, mainly east- and south-facing vineyards on schist soils, at altitudes between 80 and 350 metres. This diversity contributes to a balanced and expressive regional profile.
On the palate, it shows structure and harmony, with integrated tannins and a balance between fruit and freshness. A versatile and expressive red that reflects the Douro’s identity.
The long-standing passion that Rubens Menin and Cristiano Gomes share for Portugal and the Douro has evolved over the years. What began as a second homeland has become the ideal setting for a project that celebrates and strengthens the region’s historical legacy. In both viticulture and oenology, they follow the same guiding principles: sustainability, quality, and a long‑term vision. Menin wines express their terroir with complexity, character, finesse, and excellent potential.
