Description

Monte dos Perdigões Grande Reserva red represents the pinnacle of winemaking at Monte dos Perdigões and is produced only in exceptional vintages. It is crafted from a blend of Alicante Bouschet and Syrah grapes sourced from the estate’s oldest vineyards.

Fermentation takes place in traditional Alentejo marble lagares, followed by 18 months of ageing in new fine-grain French oak barrels with medium toast. The result is a wine of great structure and depth, marked by elegance and complexity.
