2022 Patrick Javillier Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru white
Description
The Patrick Javillier Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru white is produced from Chardonnay grown on just 0.17 ha in the renowned climat Les Pougets, on the Corton hill, one of the most prestigious white wine origins in the Côte de Beaune. South-facing and entirely tended by hand, the terroir expresses itself here with great precision. Harvested early to preserve natural acidity, it shows a clear golden colour and deep aromas of hazelnut and fresh walnut, with notes of apple and apricot. On the palate it is mineral, vibrant and concentrated, revealing structure, finesse and remarkable persistence. A Grand Cru of great presence and longevity.
