Description

Órbita is the result of a blend of various grape varieties and plots from Quinta de Monte Xisto, with different sun exposures, composed mainly of Touriga Nacional. It has an intense red colour and an aroma full of red fruits. It is a complex and elegant wine, with a balanced structure, lively and smooth tannins, and a fruity flavour with surprising acidity and an aromatic finish with some spices.

Quinta do Monte Xisto is located in the Douro Demarcated Region, in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is a family project where the perspectives and technical knowledge of two generations of winemakers come together. Thus, João Nicolau de Almeida e Filhos was born, continuing the secular presence of the family in Douro wines.
