Description

Redenção Reserva red is made from Syrah (2 different batches), Merlot, Alicante Bouschet and Aragonês grapes, harvested by hand from an unirrigated vineyard planted on schist soil.

After 15% of the blend has aged for a period of 24 months in used French oak barrels, it is ruby in colour with garnet reflections, revealing aromas of raspberry, fresh red fruit, with a subtle mintiness. On the palate, it is a wine of great elegance with distinctive freshness and highly gastronomic. It has firm tannins that suggest a long ageing capacity, and is an authentic wine that faithfully reflects the terroir from which it comes.

Winelosophy is a project created by 4 friends with a common passion: to produce wine. Helena Duarte, Francisco Viana, Fábio Fernandes and Hélio Nobre, thus come together in a partnership with Herdade do Menir, to launch the Redenção wine brand, produced in Montemor-o-Novo.
