The Casa de Rodas Alvarinho white is the Symington family's first Vinho Verde, created in collaboration with winemaker Anselmo Mendes and born in the unique terroir of Monção and Melgaço.
Produced at the historic Casa de Rodas, a 1566 property with a centuries-old connection to the Alvarinho grape variety, this wine expresses the elegance and authenticity of the region. Aged for 6 months on fine lees, it has an austere profile, with discreet floral and fruity notes, great aromatic complexity and a marked minerality. On the palate, it reveals a firm structure, vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish. A white wine of character and precision that pays homage to the history and identity of Casa de Rodas.
