Description

Inóspito Torto Vinhas Velhas red comes from old vines planted on schist soils, made from a field blend of traditional Douro grape varieties, all hand-harvested. The winemaking follows a minimal intervention approach, with spontaneous fermentation in granite lagares with foot treading, followed by 18 months ageing in French oak barrels.

The wine stands out for its purity and clear expression of its micro-terroir, showing marked minerality, freshness and acidity. On the palate, it is elegant and precise, with an authentic, unadorned character. A wine that faithfully reflects the identity of its origin.
