Description

The Inóspito Viosinho white comes from a vineyard with granitic soil, rich in quartz, located at 670 metres above sea level in the village of Pereiros, at the northernmost tip of the Douro demarcated region. The vineyard is situated in an area with holm oaks, arbutus trees, and other typical Mediterranean forest species. The spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in new and used French oak barrels from the Bertrange forest. The wine is a true expression of minerality and freshness, symbols of its unique terroir.

Geographic Wines is a project by Daniela Matias and Nuno Morais Vaz, aiming to create wines that showcase the authentic characteristics of the grape varieties and the terroirs from which they originate.
