2023 Mullineux Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc Swartland white
Description
Mullineux Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc Swartland white comes from sustainably farmed old vines over 46 years old, grown on decomposed granite soils in the Paardeberg, Swartland. The winemaking combines tank and older French oak barrel fermentation using indigenous yeasts, preserving the purity and character of the grape.
The nose reveals notes of sun-ripened pear and a distinct mineral character. On the palate, it shows vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, rounded texture, with a subtle citrus pith note leading to a fresh, lingering finish. A precise and expressive Chenin Blanc.
