The Quilate Colheita red is produced from a careful selection of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Barroca, fermented in century-old granite lagares with controlled temperature and foot treading. For added volume and complexity, it is briefly aged in French oak. It displays a bright ruby colour with intense aromas of ripe red fruit and subtle notes of dark chocolate. On the palate, it shows character, good volume, well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish.
