Intense and captivating, Gladius Premium Red from Herdade Fonte Paredes combines Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah in a characterful blend. It displays a deep red colour and complex aromas, where ripe fruit is beautifully integrated with elegant notes of oak. On the palate, it is smooth yet structured, with firm tannins, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish.
Herdade Fonte Paredes is a 400-hectare estate set across the Alentejo soils of Avis. The first vineyard was planted in 1930 on this centuries-old property, and since then, wine production has been a central pursuit of the Cerejo family, who have managed the estate for four generations.
