Quinta da Cheira is located in the parish of Mazedo and its first vineyard was planted in 1990, with the typical grape variety of the Vinho Verde region, Alvarinho.
The production here remains practically artisanal and in purposely small quantities, in order to focus on the quality of the grapes and the terroir. As a result, the wines display a mineral structure, characteristic of the land and the mountainous region bathed by the river, as well as fruity and delicate aromas.
