This bagaceira brandy aged for over 20 years in French oak barrels and presents an amber colour, revealing notes of plum, vanilla and dried fruits on the nose. In the mouth it is smooth, velvety and fine.
The Adega do Fundão is founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 winegrowers from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, a vine-growing area dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.
The vineyards are planted along the Serra da Gardunha, which allows the production of grapes that give the wines a richness, freshness and exuberance without equal.
