Description

It is produced at the cooperative winery of Lagoa, obtained from the "Crato Branco" grape variety, grown in the regions of Silves, Armação de Pêra, Almansil, Carvoeiro and Lagoa. This fortified wine is aged in oak casks for a period of eight to twelve years. Depending on the moment of interruption, and the grape is used, it will be more or less sweet. The final alcohol content of fortified wines is between 19-22%.

Adega Cooperativa do Algarve was the result of the merger of the Lagoa and Lagos Cooperatives in 2008, intending to enhance the best of Algarve wines and keep the region's wine-making tradition alive. Despite its 64 years, Adega Cooperativa do Algarve continues to make history. The products are undoubtedly one of the great hallmarks of the Algarve.
