Description
Mullineux Iron Syrah Swartland red comes from vineyards aged between 20 and 30 years, planted on iron-rich, granite and schist soils in the Swartland region. Produced under sustainable farming practices and with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, it reflects the authenticity of its terroir.
The nose is highly aromatic, showing notes of black pepper, dark fruits, herbs and an earthy, slightly sanguine character. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with velvety yet structured tannins and balanced acidity that brings freshness. The finish is long, elegant and persistent.
