The Turris is a wine made from an old vineyard, over 130 years old, without any conduction, facing south, in Cima Corgo, Douro. It was aged for 15 months in over 60-year-old casks, carefully brought from Mosel, Germany.
The youthful, intense, slightly open colour leads to a deep, markedly mineral and crystalline aroma. It impresses by its purity and finesse, with fresh, red fruit and a spring floral. In the mouth, it is fresh, silky but with great tension. The elegance combined with minerality and tannic structure shows a unique complexity. This wine particularly stands out for its long finish, a wine that is "chewy" without being heavy and that allows us to savour the old days.
