Alambre is a DOC Moscatel de Setúbal fortified wine, produced by José Maria da Fonseca for over 100 years, from the Moscatel de Setúbal grape variety. The harvest age of this muscatel varies between 40 and 50 years old, having aged first in oak barrels until the bottling date. Very deep amber colour with reddish tinges. Aromas of caramel, dried fruits, figs, and cloves. The palate is cinnamon coloured, fruity, and smooth, with a very long finish.
