Intense dark colour and unequaled aroma, it derives from the aging process in a solera system for a minimum period of 5 years, thus being designated Gran Reserva. The non-appearance of this designation on the label is a change in Spanish regulations, this terminology Gran Reserva being used for Brandys Jerez.

The small annual production makes this brandy a limited edition.
