Pitú is a Brazilian cachaça, produced in the city Vitória de Santo Antão, in the state of Pernambuco, with floral and fruity aromas, originating from sugarcane.
Cachaça, pinga, cana or canha is the name given to sugarcane brandy, a typically Brazilian alcoholic drink. Its name may have originated from the old Iberian language - cachaza - meaning lees wine, an inferior wine drunk in Portugal and Spain.
