Betting on the market of yellow cachaças, in 1999 the Velho Barreiro family increased, creating its ‘gold’ version made of aged and numbered cachaça, becoming a special and limited edition. Due to its great success, it became part of the range, integrated into the product mix of the company, expanding strategically to the high consumer market as a business opportunity and trend which then arose for that type of product in the period.
