Well matured and authentic, Dewar's was created in the mid-19th century by two strong women distilling pioneers, Helen and Elizabeth Cumming.
Inspired by the uplands of the Speyside region, they created their distillery and named it Cardhu, which means "black rock" in Gaelic.
