Description

The grapes that gave rise to this wine were vinified together, to harvest the various varieties in the various plots at the time when the result would be the best to produce a wine of guard. Great concentration, very fresh, the blend gave rise to a very complex aroma where the barrel notes harmoniously combine to add complexity to the spices, the black fruits, the liquorice, the violets in a set that promises to improve in the bottle year after year.

In 2011, Rui Reboredo Madeira returns to the same winery where he made his first vintage in 1987. Located in the small village of Vermiosa, in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, among the highest vineyards in Portugal, his wines from Beira Interior are vinified and aged.

Then the Beyra wine brand is born, marked by excellence and the pioneering concept of "Altitude Wines".

In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, in the border area between Douro Superior and Beira Alta, it was in the family that Rui Roboredo Madeira's passion for the aromas and smells of the land that mould his character was born. After years of experience and living in other parts of the world, Rui brings back to his origins what he has learned, starting his wine production project, always with maximum respect for nature.
