1988 Madeira D'Oliveiras Verdelho
Description
From 1988 this Verdelho D'Oliveiras is a very old fortified wine, classified as "Frasqueira". It was part of a wine estate of the family that owns the company and was produced from one of Madeira Island's noblest grape varieties, Verdelho, with a slightly fuller-bodied and less acidic profile than those from the Sercial variety and Meio Seco type, this wine is without a doubt of great quality and excellence.
Pereira d'Oliveira is an independent Madeira Wine producing company, managed by descendants of the founding owners, owned by 3 brothers, with Aníbal D`Oliveira and Luís D'Oliveira in charge, who represents the fifth generation of knowledge and experience dedicated to the production, commercialization, and exportation of Madeira Wine.
This company includes 5 producers of Madeiras, all from families originating from this island, the oldest dating back to 1820. In the warehouses, there is a considerable stock of old and rare wines which are the result of the valuable wine heritage of the aforementioned companies, and which currently represent an added value for Pereira D'Oliveira (Wines).
