Description
The famous Gin brand was created in 1830 when Charles Tanqueray, with only 20 years old and descendant of David Tanqueray, member of the British Royal Family, produced a botanical recipe and became a Gin distiller of high quality, founding his small distillery in Bloomsbury, a district near the city of London in England. They used the waters of the Finsbury Spa, near the city of London, to make the Gins. According to many researchers, these waters have invigorating powers. At this time the Tanqueray London Dry Gin, named so because of the production process and not because of the city of London, was the best available in the area. The bottle in which the drink was sold was inspired by English hydrants from eighteenth century, creating a distinguishing symbol of the brand.
