Description

This Douro wine is an exclusive product, belonging to a private bottling of Francisco Manoel da Costa, from the 1904 harvest. Liqueur or fortified wines are those whose alcoholic fermentation is stopped by the addition of brandy, at a certain point of fermentation. Depending on the time of the interruption, and grape that is being used, it will be more or less sweet. The final alcohol level of fortified wines is between 19-22%.
