Description
Túnel Absinthe is an absinthe range for those who want to try the drink at a more affordable price. The secret of this delicious drink is based on the exact proportions of natural extracts of aniseed, coriander, and wormwood or wormwood (Artemisia Asinthium). It should be served very cold, in the traditional form, with a lump of sugar and added water to taste. Wormwood is a distilled drink made from wormwood (Artemisia Asinthium). Anise, fennel and other herbs could also enter the composition. It was first created and used as a medicine by Dr. Pierre Ordinaire, a French physician living in Couvet, Switzerland, around 1792. Absinthe was especially popular in France, mainly because of its connection to the Parisian artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, until it was banned in 1915, and gained some popularity with its legalisation in several countries. It is also popularly known as the green fairy (la fée verte) because of a supposed hallucinogenic effect. Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud, Van Gogh, Oscar Wilde, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edgar Allan Poe and Aleister Crowley were fans of the drink.
