Description
The Gin Magellan is a Premium Gin manufactured in Angeac in France. Its name is a tribute to the Portuguese navigator Fernão Magalhães (in Spanish Magellan) and his trips to the "spice islands". Gin Magellan is a brave Gin (as was Fernão Magalhães) in its composition: Juniper is not the most important ingredient in its production! Unlike most gin that use juniper as the main botanical of its composition, gin Magellan uses the clove - which was exactly the main spice discovered by Fernão Magalhães in his trips to the spice islands. In its Elaboration the gin Magellan takes 11 different botanists, many of them discovered by Fernão Magalhães: orange peel, coriander, licorice, cinnamon, cassia, nutmeg, cardamom, grains of paradise, nail and flower and iris root, all they are duly selected in the source that offers the most guarantee of their quality, for example cinnamon is from Sri Lanka, cassia from Indochina, oranges from Mexico, cardamom from India and Iris from Italy. Care in its production leads to the magellan gin being distilled four times in small handcrafted stills, which capture each of the complex flavors of each botanist used. The end result is a unique gin in the world, with a refreshing and yet complex flavor.
