Einar was a tough, successful Viking on adventures and long treacherous journeys. Ruthless and strong, Einar was easily identified by his axe, reflecting his fierce character. Described in the Orkneyinga Saga as "a tough and successful fighting man", Einar became the ruler of Orkney.
