Description

This is a set of 4 wines that celebrates the 40th anniversary of Soalheiro. The purpose of this special edition is to show the potential of Soalheiro as a wine for ageing and the essence of the passion for the vineyard and winemaking based on two very different vintages, 2015 and 2018.

The following is a short description of each of the wines:

2015 L15: A cold year in the Vinhos Verdes region, results in a fresh and vibrant Alvarinho. Aged for 7 years in stainless steel vats with fine lees from each new harvest;
2015 L1518: A cold harvest blended with 15% of a hot harvest, a fresh and round Alvarinho with a winery secret;
2018 L1815: A warm harvest blended with 15% of a cold harvest, a full-bodied and vibrant Alvarinho with a winery secret;
2018 L18: A warm year in the Vinho Verde region, results in a long and persistent Alvarinho. Aged for 4 years in stainless steel vats, without intervention.
