This is a softer, more sophisticated version of the popular Old Monk rum from India. This was distilled from molasses and aged for a minimum of 12 years in oak barrels. It is dryer and spicier than its younger sibling with complex notes of cinnamon, clove and chocolate. It drinks beautifully on its own, and also makes a high quality mixer.
