Description

This is a special and commemorative edition whose production was limited to 1917 numbered bottles. Bottle number 1 was offered, in its own hand, to Pope Francisco in the Vatican. The initiative is led by the Comissão Vitivinícola da Bairrada (CVB) e da Associação Rota da Bairrada (ARB) and has the support of the region's producers, who are challenged to create a unique sparkling wine capable of bringing together the best of Bairrada. Not for profit, the proceeds from the sale of this Bairrada '1917-2017 Centenary of the Apparitions of Fatima' fully reverts to the Center of Social Action of the Sanctuary of Fatima, a private social solidarity institution whose mission is to welcome children and adolescents in difficult family situations.
