Description

Citadelle Réserve is made from 22 botanicals, including yuzu, genepi and blueberry. The gin is aged in five different types of barrels, starting with traditional French oak and moving on to the less common woods of acacia, mulberry, chestnut and cherry. After ageing, the batch is left to rest, something that Maison Ferrand refers to as an "avant-garde technique", giving rise to woody notes, combined with toasted flavours, coriander seeds, almonds and macadamia nuts.
