Description

The fashion in gins came to stay with producers to bet on innovation. From Estremoz, in Alentejo, comes the first gin made from grapes of the Touriga Nacional, aging in barrels. It was four years making gin microdestilations - in all were over a thousand - to Tiago Cabaço and Luis Ferreira predict the formula that led them to bottle the first gin made from Touriga Nacional, a caste of traditional Portuguese grapes, which results in some of the most prestigious wines in the country. In this gin we find a balance between acidity and aromatic exuberance, more floral than citrus.
