The Boudier distillery in the Dijon region has long been famous for its liqueurs, such as the renowned cassis de Dijon. The distillery did not let the opportunity slip when it discovered in its archives, an old gin recipe that included an infusion of saffron. Handcrafted, it contains a blend of 8 different distilled botanicals and a copper still, which is then topped with the saffron infusion that provides the orange colour and a more peppery flavour than normal gin. Serve with an orange peel and a few strands of saffron.
