Made by John Haig and Company, the oldest Scotch whisky distillers in the world (well, in Scotland, and by proxy the world). Haig Gold Label is made with 40% malt whisky, including Glenkinchie and Linkwood. Moderately smoky and peaty like many single malts, with light spice notes and an increasingly pleasant after-taste, Haig Gold Label has a simplicity borne of superb blending; it is naturally full-bodied, satisfying as a true 'real whisky'.
