The Maison Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish officer in the army of Louis XV. Richard, who saw his business opportunity in the richest soil of the Cognac region and the right medium to make his cognac known, made his product so appreciated that success across continents followed within a few years of founding his company. In 1794, the first shipment of Hennessy cognac was shipped to the United States of America.
Today, Maison Hennessy has over 250 years of history and experience in the production of this excellent distillate and is always committed to the search for new sustainable practices.
