A superbly balanced and complex whisky, The Blender's Dog is the perfect balance of spirit, wood, and time. From light citrus to notes of pineapple, mango, and kiwi on the nose, with the addition of figs and dates. A touch of nuttiness, derived from American and Spanish barrels, vanilla, and toasted oak. It has a rich, round and creamy mouthfeel, with the sweetness of the caramel giving way to the spicy touch of the spices. The juicy fruit brings the perfect balance as does the charred oak with some light tannins adding to the complexity. Exceptionally long finish, just as the delicious fruit is slow to fade.
