Kopke 50 years Port

ID: 3170147
€259.95
Only 1 unit available
Description

This 50 year old Port is made from a blend of traditional Douro grape varieties and reveals a mahogany colour with greenish reflections. It has an intense aroma with extraordinary complexity, revealing layered flavours from the ageing in wood, where notes of dried figs, tobacco, dried white plums and walnuts stand out. On the palate, it reveals the opulence of a great old port wine where the flavours are endless, again with notes typical of ageing in wood, such as spices and dried fruit, but always surrounded by fresher flavours that provide a unique and endless finish.

C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port Wine company. It was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke who had come to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League. Adding up 4 centuries of success in the world of Port wines, the Kopke brand, acquired in 2006 by the Sogevinus group, is today a reference of prestige, maintaining the quality objectives that have guided it in the market over the years, is especially recognized in the Harvest Ports, with high notoriety in the sector.
