Bright pink color with light froth. Rich and floral perfume at violet and rose. Fresh taste with fruity notes of cherry and blueberry. It has a citrine aftertaste which reminds pink grapefruit. Ideal as an aperitif and throughout the entire meal. It goes well with light appetizers, cold dishes, risottos, white meat, fish and shellfish.
In 1950 a group of 9 wine producers from the Province of Reggio Emilia set up Cantine Cooperative Riunite. Eleven years later, 4 wineries from the Province of Modena followed their lead and founded Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV). This was the stimulus for small producers to join together and build a new winery at Canali in 1936. Its success was such that in the decades that followed membership rose to one hundred and seventy growers.
Renowned for years or its high-quality bulk wines, today the Cantina Albinea Canali offers a range of premium products destined exclusively for restaurants and wine shops.
