Translated as Big Ocean, this unique expression is a celebration of the art of Laphroaig, which brings together only the finest batches selected by the distillery's Master Blender. All lots involved were aged in American white oak barrels first filled with Bourbon Whisky, finishing in European oak barrels.
The result is an extraordinary fusion of flavours, naturally highlighting the unmistakable medicinal peat, the caramel from the American wood, and the toasted burnt apricot and sultana from the European oak.
